Honduras is divided into 18 departments. One of these is the department of Lempira. The city of Gracias is the capital of the department of Lempira. There are other, better known places in the country with similar names, so, to avoid confusion, the city of Gracias is frequently called by both names . . . Gracias Lempira.
(Don't
be fooled by imitations . . . there is also a "Gracias a Dios" as well as a
"Puerto
Lempira" in Honduras. Accept no substitutes - find our city of
Gracias on this map!)

What's the weather like in Gracias today?
Santa Rosa de Copan is the nearest city which is large enough to have weather updates on the internet. It is 45 minutes from Gracias by road (to the north west - you can find it on the map above), and the weather in Santa Rosa de Copan is generally similar to the weather in Gracias, except that Gracias - being in a valley - is slightly warmer and slightly less rainy than Santa Rosa de Copan. (Sometimes, if the reports aren't coming in from Santa Rosa de Copan, the weather reports above may say "Nueva Ocotepeque", a city which is south west of Gracias.)
