How You Can Partner with Us in this Work:
 

Christmas Gifts: Each year we collect and distribute Christmas gifts for the pastors and their families, the children in our nutrition and special needs programs, and children in the local hospitals and orphanages. This year, we expect to distribute 2100 gifts.

De-worming Medicine for Malnourished Children and Orphans: For an amazing 4 cents, you can purchase the medicine to de-worm a child for a year. De-worming is an essential part of dealing with malnutrition, as internal parasites are a major problem in Honduras.

Bibles: For $1 you can help a pastor purchase a Spanish Bible for a member of his congregation. In our 3 years in Lempira, we have been able to distribute 6000 Bibles.

Vitamins for Malnourished Children and Orphans: For $3 per year, you can pay for a child to receive regular vitamin supplements. The UN has declared the country of Honduras to have the highest level of chronic malnutrition in this hemisphere. The department of Lempira, where we work, has been ranked by the Honduran government as the poorest part of Honduras. 60% of the children in the mountains of our area suffer from chronic malnutrition. Through this program we have helped thousands of children avoid the permanent damage associated with malnutrition.

Feed Malnourished Children and Orphans: For $5 per year, a child can receive a highly nutritious, vitamin and protein enriched meal each day for 365 days. The food is donated, so the payment is only for shipping - what a deal!

Send a Pastor to Seminary: For $ 12 per month, or $ 96 per year, you can pay for tuition, supplies, and room and board for a pastor to attend the monthly Bible Training School. Classes are held for three days each month. Most of the pastors in Lempira have a heart for God, but limited education and training.

Special Needs Families: You can sponsor a family which includes a child with ongoing medical needs for $15 per month. These families receive nutritional supplements and assistance with their medical needs. There are currently 35 families receiving full support, and 65 families receiving some support.

Study Bibles for Pastors: For $20 we can provide a Spanish study Bible for an indigenous pastor. When we arrived in Lempira in 2005, we noticed that most pastors had no Bible study materials, not even a study Bible with notes. To date, we have distributed 1000 Study Bibles.

Coleman lanterns for churches: Many churches are requesting lanterns for buildings with no electricity. For $30 you can help a pastor purchase a dual fuel Coleman lantern. This provides a church with a much more inviting atmosphere for evening services.

Horses for Pastors: For $260 you can help buy a horse to assist a pastor with his transportation needs. Most of our pastors minister in 3 or 4 churches, spread out in the remote mountain areas, where roads are minimal.
                                                                                           

Church Construction: We assist congregations in the construction of church buildings. Churches purchase the land, and congregations contribute much of the needed labor and materials. Our average amount of assistance is $800. In our 2.5 years in Lempira we have been able to assist 34 churches with their construction projects.
