The Old News (scroll down for new photos):

Here's the old family
picture, taken in late December, 2006. To update the reports on the kids:
Kirstin (22)
has continued to excel in her courses at Taylor University (online), while also
working part time at Home Depot. She lives with Trish's parents in Florida now.
Russell (21)
is an official missionary with Missionary
Ventures! He is engaged to be married to
Iris, in October of
2010!
Rachel (18)
is working hard to finish up her high school courses. She hasn't yet decided
what she wants to do when she's finished with high school - moving to the US for
college doesn't especially interest her.
Christopher (16)
looks a LOT different now than he does in this picture! He's a great help to us
in the ministry, and he's working hard at school, as he does want to return to
the US for college in a few years.
Bethany (13)
loves school, and wants to be a missionary and run an orphanage when she grows
up.
David (8)
loves to study science in school, and is an avid talker.
We haven't taken a posed family picture since the one above, so here are some random shots of the kids, doing what they do in daily life:

Now, before you go thinking that I've
acquired a bunch of new kids . . . some of these are the children of our new
co-workers, Alan and Faith Hayes, and one is a daughter of Brad and Trish Ward,
who work in Santa Rosa de Copan. David and Bethany are the two furthest to the
left. My kids are enjoying having all these gringo friends to play with! In this
picture, however, they are taking a short break from working - they were helping
deliver Christmas gifts to the orphans in Santa Rosa de Copan.

David, of course, rates his own section of pictures . . .

Thanks for remembering to pray for the ongoing process of trying to adopt David.
